How to Create a Facebook Product Feed From Your Store for Free

Generate a Meta-ready product feed from your store URL, review it and connect it to Commerce Manager in a few steps.

If your store platform does not produce a Meta catalog feed β€” or the plugin you tried breaks every update β€” you can build one from your live product pages instead. The free SeoSpidie Facebook product feed generator crawls your store, finds the product pages and creates a feed you can connect to Commerce Manager.

For the fields and setup in Meta, read how to set up a Facebook and Instagram product catalog.

Step 1: Prepare your product pages

The generator reads what is on your pages. Make sure every product page clearly shows its name, price, availability and main image, and works without logging in. Product structured data makes extraction more reliable β€” add it with the schema generator if your theme lacks it.

Step 2: Enter your store URL

Paste your shop's address. The tool crawls the site, follows links to find product pages and extracts the details for each product.

Step 3: Review the products

Go through the result before exporting:

  • Remove items you do not want to advertise, such as samples or discontinued lines.
  • Check that prices include the currency and match the site.
  • Make sure each product has its own photo, not a logo or banner.
  • Add brand names where missing; Meta requires brand, GTIN or MPN.

What a good product row looks like

Before exporting, compare a few rows with this example of a complete, clean item:

  • id: KUR-NAVY-M
  • title: Men's Cotton Kurta – Navy Blue, Regular Fit
  • description: Breathable handloom cotton kurta with a mandarin collar and side pockets. Machine washable.
  • availability: in stock Β· condition: new Β· price: 1299.00 INR
  • link and image_link: full https:// URLs to the product page and its main photo
  • brand: your brand name

If your rows look like this, Meta will usually accept them first time.

Step 4: Export and host the file

Download the feed and upload it to your website, for example https://yourshop.com/feeds/facebook.csv. A stable URL lets Meta fetch updates on a schedule.

Step 5: Connect it in Commerce Manager

  1. Open Commerce Manager and select (or create) your catalog.
  2. Go to Data sources β†’ Data feed β†’ Scheduled feed.
  3. Enter your feed URL and choose a daily update time.
  4. Run the first upload and review the issues report.

Step 6: Fix issues and keep it fresh

Meta lists rejected items with reasons. Common ones are missing images, price mismatches and policy flags. Fix them on your site, regenerate the feed and upload the new file to the same URL. Regenerate whenever prices, stock or products change significantly.

Reuse your work across channels

Facebook, Google and Pinterest feeds share most fields. If you sell on all three, generate them together with the multi-channel feed generator, so that IDs, titles and prices stay consistent everywhere. Validate shared data like barcodes once with the GTIN validator.
